Hello, I am doing Family research for my husband and trying to locate the Catholic churches in and around Zawoja Poland, I googled that city and your site came up. Have you been to that town and would you be willing to list the churches and their address? Thanks From Minnesota
Dear John, Thanks for your website, it is amazing. I am an American that is moving to Krakow. One of the main reasons is because I love the faith and dI have two sons who I want to experience it in Poland and especially in Krakow which Pope John Paul II loved to much. My wife and I were actually by blessed by him in Rome after we were married in Szczecin. Is there any way to get a hold of you, I see that your bog has been active for a while. If you are in the states, my phone number is Nine One Nine 392 3976. I plan to move there in November 2007 but I would love to talk to you in person to get some good information about Krakow, your perspective and perhaps chat about faith in general Thanks Ramon

From what I can tell, the oldest church in Zawoja is St. Clement's Church. The telephone number is (0-11-48)33-877-50-14.
The address is:
Parafia pw. św. Klemensa w Zawoi-Centrum
34-222 Zawoja 123
Poland
See http://zawoja.pl/parafia/ for more information (in Polish).
Sorry for the late reply. I hope that this helps.
Dear John,
I love your Polish blog! Please keep it up! Being Polish, third generation I have to learn about our homeland.
Joe
